KSO mourns demise of its founding president

The Kuki Students' Organisation, General Headquarters (KSO-GHQ) has condoled the demise of its founding president, Paokholien alias PK Singson, at Guwahati today following a prolonged heart illness.
A press release issued by president KSO-GHQ stated that the Late student activist cleared the UPSC examination for Assistant Station Director of AIR in 1978 and Station Director of AIR in the following year.
It stated that the Late founding president achieved many laurels for his outstanding contribution in the North East and the North East Chambers of Commerce and Industry selected and felicitated him as one of the five achievers of the NE Region for his exemplary achievements.
PK Singson was also nominated for International Who's who of 20th Century Achievements and Leading Intellectuals of the World on contemporary achievements for 1999 by American Biographical institute, it said while adding that he was also nominated by ABI for 500 leaders of Influence who have made significant contribution to society and profession.
He was also nominated by Commonwealth Relation Trust United Kingdom and attended training at BBC London 1983 .
Expressing heartfelt condolence, the student organisation stated that the demise of the founding president a great loss to the society and his family.
Meanwhile, The Kuki Students' Organisation Churachandpur District has also condoled the death of Paokholien Singson alias P K Singson.
It said that Singson is a visionary leader with indomitable spirit .
'Born in September 14, 1944 at Lungphulien village, Churachandpur District , he joined the commercial broadcasting service of AIR at Cuttack station as Director in 1979 and retired from the service on September 30, 2004', it added.
The KSO CCpur district plans to escort their late leader upon the arrival at Tulihal Airport, Imphal tomorrow at 11.40 am where the last rites of (L) PK Singson will be held at his native Bethel village in Churachandpur District on February 10 .
While expressing their heartfelt condolence and deepest sympathy to his bereft family, the KSO mourns the death of its founding president.
