Disappointed over the alleged non-implementation of road construction work between Molkon and Yangnoi under PMGSY 2017, the Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai (KISG) warn of stringent action if the road construction work is not initiated at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons at Saikul Hill Town, president KISG, Seimang Lupho alleged that road construction work between Molkon and Yangnoi, approximately a distance of 20 Km under PMGSY No MN06306, remained unimplemented despite of issuance of the work order for the same.

He continued that Molkon is the second largest business hub, next to Saikul Hill Town, for more than 40/50 villages in Zilhom area where proper road connectivity is the key requirement of the people and the ray of hope for proper road connectivity arrived with the sanctioning of road construction work under PMGSY in 2017.However, the non-implementation of the work even after two years has disappointed the people since their hope of proper road connectivity is far from accomplishment and invited unwanted rage of the people, he added.
Saying that CSOs of Saikul under the aegis of Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai always stands for the welfare of the public, he said they consider the matter seriously and decided not to keep any stone unturned over PMGSY No MN06306 concerning Molkon to Yangnoi road construction work.
He further cautioned that the CSOs of Saikul under the aegis of KISG have started their own thorough enquiry over the matter and in case the concerned engineer and contractors are found drawing the sanctioned amount without executing the work assigned, stringent action will be initiated against them under any circumstances.
The CSOs of Saikul including KSO Saikul, KWU Saikul under the aegis of KISG also drew the attention of the concerned authority and the State Govt to take the matter seriously and initiate prompt action before thing turns volatile.
