AR conducts medical camp

Kakching, June 04 2018:
Continuing its philanthropic activities in providing welfare measures to local population, Kakching Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a medical camp at Mandak village, Kakching district today.
Kakching Battalion along with staff provided medical treatment to more than 65 people including 17 males, 38 females and 10 children.
Apart from providing necessary medical assistance, basic knowledge on health, education, hygiene and sanitation were also imparted.
An interaction session was also organized where people were acquainted about common outbreak of disease during monsoon season.
Chairman, Mandak village along with the locals, especially from weaker section of society expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for their continued support and the noble effort undertaken by Kakching Battalion.
