The armed Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak reportedly celebrated its first Raising Day at outfit's central headquarters, tactical headquarters, units, militia units and civil units with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocol on Saturday.

A SOREPA statement issued by its publicity secretary MC Yaiphabi informed that message of the chairman given to the public on the occasion was read out at all the celebration venues.
Chairman Toijam Ibochouba stressed the need for a collective understanding of revolutionary thought during the celebration at central headquarters.
He said that launching a revolutionary movement is impossible without revolutionary thought and this has been clearly shown by the ongoing revolutionary movement in WESEA and Manipur that is being waged ever since India forcibly occupied the region.
Achieving goal of the revolutionary movement would be problematic and delayed if the revolutionaries and people are isolated, he said and emphasised the need for revolutionary leaders to keep in touch with the people who are supporting the revolution though remain underground from colonial administration as weapons possessed by revolutionaries alone cannot achieve revolutionary goal.
The only weapon revolutionaries should possess together with the people is revolutionary thought acceptable to the masses, the SOREPA statement quoted chairman Ibochouba as saying.
