Imphal, February 01 2014 :
A five-day photo exhibition named "Manipur Through Ph Santosh's Lens" organized by Len Filmz was inaugurated at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound here today.
The inaugural function was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam as Chief Guest and President of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) Wangkhemcha Shyamjai as President.
Speaking on the occasion, Gaikhangam said that photojournalism is a manly profession.
The photojournalists need to have patience and courage in order to capture some of the precious moments in the history of mankind.
Had the journalists not captured the dropping of atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on their cameras, the present generation would have never seen such historic events in photographs and videos.
