Imphal, May 31 2015 :
Trinamool Congress MLAs Kh Joykishan, O Lukhoi and Th Bishwajit who have been disqualified by the Manipur Legislative Speaker's Tribunal on May 27 under 10th Schedule of the Indian Constitution have joined BJP and they have started due preparations for the impending mid term polls.
All three of them were elected to the Manipur Legislative Assembly for the first time on All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) tickets in the last Assembly election held in 2012 .
Kh Joykishan and O Lukhoi represented Thangmeiband A/C and Wangoi A/C respectively while Th Bishwajit was elected from Thongju A/C.BJP Manipur Pradesh accorded a warm welcome to the trio at the party's Nityaipat Chuthek office today.

Speaking at the gathering, BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba declared that Kh Joykishan, O Lukoi and Th Bishwajit have been granted BJP membership.
Chaoba claimed that the three of them joined BJP with a conviction to uproot Congress party from the soil of Manipur as BJP is the only party which can take on the might of the Congress party.
There were 16 disqualification cases in the Speaker's Tribunal but the Tribunal picked the cases of the trio randomly which was inexplicable, Chaoba said.
The disqualification order could have been challenged in the Court but the three MLAs chose to go to the 'people's court' and seek people's mandate once again.
Now the people of Thongju, Thangmeiband and Wangoi Assembly segments must prepare to fight the mid term polls against the collective resources of 47 Congress MLAs.
Ex-MLAs Kh Joykishan, Th Bishwajit and O Lukhoi would be reinstated as MLAs in the next couple of months and they would be the first men to open BJP's account in Manipur Legislative Assembly, Chaoba claimed.
Asserting that Dzuko Valley is an integral part of Manipur, Chaoba demanded resignation of the Government for its failure to protect the State's boundary.
He then alleged that Chief Minister O Ibobi had the audacity to smile when he was received at Senapati with a 'Welcome to Nagaland' banner.
Even as the three Congress MPs and the 47 MLAs have been investing several crores in the ADC election, no Congress flag can be seen within the six ADCs, Chaoba added.
Th Bishwajit said that he could have saved his prestige by going to Court but people of Thongju A/C prefer to teach the Congress Government a lesson and overthrow their corrupt regime.
"That is why I joined BJP", he said.
Kh Joykishan said that the masses are his source of inspiration to fight the impending mid term polls.
O Lukhoi called upon all the people to study how the Speaker's Tribunal has been holding back the disqualification petition filed against five MSCP MLAs who have joined Congress.
BJP National executive member Tapir Gao was also present at the felicitation function.
