Ngaimel Children School celebrates Decennial

As the nation celebrated Children's Day across the country on Saturday, Ngaimel Children School at Ngaimel veng, Keithelmanbi, Sadar Hills celebrated Decennial at the school campus.
MLA Nemcha Kipgen, 50-Kangpokpi AC, Hill Districts Private Schools' Association Manipur President N Benjamin Tao and Sadar Hills Private Schools' Association President Robert SR attended Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and President respectively.
Decennial Choir unveiled the grand celebration with their melodious hymns after KCBC Head Deacon invoked the opening prayer, which has been followed reception address from TK Siema, Chairman, Ngaimel Children School Board.
The local MLA released the Decennial Souvenir after KCBC Pastor Lamkhoseh Chongloi invoked thanksgiving prayer for the ten years of excellence in education.
Speaking at occasion MLA Nemcha Kipgen said that education is the means and only means to accomplish greater heights on all fronts and beseeched the younger generation to make hay while the sun shine and do ever more and better more.
While lauding the founding members of the school, past and present teachers, parents/ guardians and students alike for their collective endeavours all along and on reaching a fruitful ten years of excellence in education the local MLA envisaged that at the present trend the school will be one of the best schools in the area.
Hemang Singsit, Founder and Principal of the school said that the school aims to impart qualitative and sound education for all-round development of body.
Lamneo Kipgen, Class-II (2014), daughter of Mangcha Kipgen of Phaijang village has been awarded Late Themvah Singsit Memorial Excellence Award, donated by Hemang Singsit and family to the student who passed in excellence grade in all tests and examinations conducted by the school.
Haokai Lhouvum son of Seipao Lhouvum of Keithelmanbi and Preety Upprety, daughter of late Tulsi Upprety of Parsian village bagged the Late Paojahao Hangshing Memorial Best Boy and Best Girl award donated by Lamkeng and family while Ngamboi Haokip son of Doumang Haokip of W Bolkot village begged the Late Otkhopao Singsit Memorial Best Teacher Award donated by Hethang Singsit and family.
The school also awarded Decennial Students Award to eight students who have been studying in the school for the past ten years continuously.
Various cultural dances, skits and presentation marked the celebration while Church Choir and decennial Choir enthralled the crowd with their melodious voice during the celebration.
Various schools principal within Sadar Hills, Church and CSO leaders attended in the programme.
