State level painting competition

Imphal, November 12 2017:
As part of the National awareness campaign on Energy Conservation - 2017, a State level painting competition on Energy Conservation will be held under the auapices of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Poweron November 14 at Raj Bhavan.
Governor Dr Najma Heptulla will inaugurate the function as chief guest along with other dignitaries.
The ceremony will start at 10 am and end with distribution of prizes in the evening.
Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has been organising painting competition on Energy Conservation for students of Class IV, V and VI under Category 'A' and for VII, VIII and IX students under Category 'B.The scheme will be implemented throughout the country with the support of 11 Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, Government of India and all the 33 State Designated Agencies (SDAs') established under the Energy Conservation Act 2001 .
The competition is being held at three stages, namely, School, State and National Level.
Students of Class IV, V and VI under Group 'A' and of Class VII, VIII and IX under Group 'B' are eligible to participate in the competition.
