World Vision donates OCs, beds to RIMS

Imphal, July 09 2021:
World Vision India (North East Region) area programme manager Dr Asosii Loli has donated 10 Oxygen concentrators (OCs) and 10 disposable hospital beds including pillow and bed sheets to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Imphal.
In a release, RIMS media advisor N Phillip Singh informed that director Prof A Santa Singh received the items in the presence of medical superintendent Prof H Priyoshakhi Devi and deputy medical superintendent Prof N Sanjib Singh.
Dr Loli stated that World Vision India has been trying to strengthen government health care system along with providing psycho-social support to children and to create awareness on COVID-19 .
World Vision India will also be extending support and donating similar items to other hospitals including primary health care centres in other districts of the state, he assured.
Prof Santa expressed gratitude to Dr Loli for his generosity and thanked the World Vision India for their timely support, said the release, adding that RIMS Hospital post-COVID OPD will remain open on 2nd Saturday (July 10) in the interest of the patient care service.
