BOSEM to conduct TET

Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM) is all set to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) on October 28, 2012 from 9.30am to 11.30 am for Paper-I and from 1pm to 3pm for Paper-II .
According to a notification issued by its Secretary L Rajmohan Singh, the issue and submission of Application Forms would be from September 12 to 29, 2012 and the Admit Cards would be issued from October 17, 2012 onwards.
The Examination Fee (Cash only) is Rs 400 per paper for General and Rs 300 per paper for SC, ST, OBC, and PH .
The eligibility criteria for sitting the test for Paper-I (for classes I to V ) is Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
The eligibility criteria for candidates who had passed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (eligible to appear in Paper-I only)) is at least 45% marks for General, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST/PH in Senior Secondary.
For Paper-II (for classes VI to VIII), the eligibility criteria is graduate with at least 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
The statement further informed that those candidates who had appeared TET Examination, 2011 need not collect the Application Form.
However, they have to submit the photocopy of their Admit Card for TET Examination, 2011 along with Fee and a prescribed Form obtainable from the office of the Board.
