MSF to launch statewide drive

As part of its 'Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamsi' campaign, Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) would launch a state wide drive from 4th March to identify schools under Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) that are not implementing the norms of common syllabus and textbook.
Informing this, Khullakpam Sirajuddin, Vice President of MSF told media persons at its Keishampat office here today it has come to the knowledge of MSF that some schools under BSEM are prescribing textbooks of other educational Boards in defiance of the common syllabus and text book norms in the State.
If MSF found any such school during the course of the drive, all the textbooks would be seized and forced school authority to refund the money collected for prescribing text books of other educationa boards apart from ensuring cancellation of the recognition of the defaulting schools by BSEM, Sirajuddin said.
