UCM President calls for unity

Imphal, December 27 2013 :
President of United Committee Manipur (UCM) Yumnamcha Nabachandra has said that the future of Manipur would be dim if the indigenous people fail to unite and work together.
He was speaking as Chief Guest of Christmas Celebration held at Kangchup Chiru in Senapati district today.
Nabachandra further said that the people should not get divided on the basis of religion, caste or community.
The indigenous people of the State should get united and work together for a bright future.

Peace and harmony must prevail in the State with blessings from the Almighty.
He also cautioned the people against the divisive forces, and appealed to all to safeguard the State's territorial integrity at any cost.
The celebration was also attended by Chieftain of Kangchup Chiru Akung Chiru, Pastor Arei and General Secretary of UCM Joychandra Konthoujam.
UCM also donated blankets and crop seeds to the villagers of Kangchup Chiru during the occasion.
