Karam Shyam urges local clubs to work holistically

Observing that local clubs are the basic foundation or the social institutions through which children and youngsters learn about socialising and social work, CAF & PD Minister Karam Shyam has appealed to the members of local clubs in the State, more particularly in Langthabal AC to work under ideal thoughts and holistically, so that youngsters could learn from them.
He was speaking as the chief guest in the 34th Annual Foundation Day of Universal Club, Langthabal Kunja Awang Leikai at the locality.
Further noting that the role played by volunteers of local clubs in shaping a society or a locality is immense, the Minister opined that peace and prosperity will prevail in the society when local clubs and their volunteers work with integrity, high morality and holistically.
Volunteers of local clubs should be also able to deal responsibly, fairly and positively in certain circumstances such as occurrence of untoward incidents or arisen of conflict between two parties in their surroundings or localities.
They should guide the youngsters in different aspects of life besides inculcating good mannerism and disciplines, he added.
The Minister has also distributed mementos and prizes to the meritorious students and outstanding players of Langthabal Kunja Awang Leikai during the function.
The function was also attended by BJP, Manipur Pradesh treasurer Robin Blackie and Manipuri film actor RK Somorendro among others.
