Ram Krishna Mission extends aids

Ram Krishna Mission Imphal under its 'Distress Relief Work' extended clothes to people ofNungbrang village in Imphal East district today.
The assistance was provided during a function held at Thumkhong Lairembi Community Hall.
The programme was organised by Ram Krishna Mission Imphal in association with Evergreen Farmers Club Yairipok Nungbrang Imphal East and supported by ITC Limited India.
Tumukhong-Moirangpurel Gram Panchayat Pradhan Khumanthem Thasana Leima, Nungbrang Thumkhong Lairembi Youth Club president Nameirakpam Nimaichand Meitei, Ram Krishna Mission Centre Imphal, Management Committee president P Dhanakumar, secretary Swami Nareshananda, treasurer cum relief in-charge Swami Devadeveshananda, member Ng Lokendra and sympathiser Okram Sharat attended the event.
At the event, P Dhanakumar said that the programme is part of all India mission of the Ram Krishna Mission to extend assistance to poor.
Ram Krishna Mission has 210 centres in 22 countries.
It has about 1,200 educational centres and around 100 medical services facilities.
Ram Krishna Mission has been taking up relief, rehabilitation, rural development and skill development projects, he said.
Ram Krishna Mission Imphal has a school with 620 students enrolled.
Free coaching, vocational training, flood relief camps, medical camps are being organised.
Blankets and clothes were distributed to around 850 persons today.
