Reproductive Health Camp held

One-day mega reproductive child health free medical camp under the aegis of the Block Programme Management Unit, Chakpikarong with due support from the 21 Assam Rifle, Sajik Tampak was held at Sajik Tampak public ground on the October 14 .
The said health camp was organised at the said village so to give maximum benefits to the local residence residing at the surrounding villages which are highly populated areas under Chakpikarong Block in Chandel.
The medical team consist of 4 (four) Allopathic doctors, 2 (two) dental surgeons, 2 (two) Ayush doctors, nurses, lab technicians, physiotherapist, counsellors, TB, ASHAs and Asha's Facilitator from the block as well as from the district.
During the course of the camp, a total of 510 of which 189 male and 321 female (including children) were examined by the Doctors and the medical staffs providing the basic facilities of General medicine, gynaecologist, dental, ICTC, Immunization, TB, Malaria and AYUSH to the general public of Sajik Tampak and its adjoining villages.
The medical camp was even made more successful due to free transportation facilities provided to the villagers by the 21AR under the initiatives of the Major Bose, Commandant of the 21 AR Sajik Tampak and also for his cooperation to the medical team by arranging the basic needs for smooth conduct of the health camp.
Later, the camp was visited by the Shri Ningthoujam Geoffrey IAS, Deputy Commissioner Chandel; Shri Lalenthang Kom IAS, AC to DC Chandel; SDO Chakpikarong; Shri Dr.Birchandra Singh, CMO Chandel; Shri Dr.Monoringa Sumpi, M.O i/c CHC Chakpikarong and the Management staffs of National Health Mission, Chakpikarong Block after the formal inauguration of the USG & X-RAY facilities at CHC Chakpikarong, Chandel.
