Imphal, May 15 2020:
In a bid to assist the Government in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kuki Chiefs' Association (KCA) Tengnoupal, has resolved to check illegal business being carried out in villages along Indo-Myanmar border.
A press release issued by KCA also appealed to the police department and Assam Rifles to strictly monitor movements of perpetrators.
It also appealed to the public to remain vigilant and inform the association immediately if such business is carried out by anyone.
Further appealing to the public to refrain from contact with Myanmar products, KCA urged all families who are genuinely running out of essential commodities to contact them.
