Imphal, March 15 2015:
Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has appealed against causing disturbances to students appearing the ongoing CBSE examinations in the State during the 18-hour State wide bandh called by JCILPS beginning Monday.
DESAM in a statement further urged the JCILPS not to disrupt movement of students and CBSE officials during the strike.
The strike has been called by JCILPS to protest against the Manipur Regulation of Visitors, Tenants and Migrant Workers Bill 2015 .
