AMWJU to give concession to PWD bodies on hiring Press Club

President of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU), Wangkhemcha Shyamjai on Sunday called on the State Government to ensure all differently-abled persons pursue successful life.
Shyamjai was taking part in the annual general assembly of Handicapped Development Foundation (HDF) held at the office premises of the Foundation here.
Expressing his concern for all disabled persons in the State, Shyamjai appealed to the Government to timely execute all that is need to be done for them so that they can lead a successful life.
He said that if the Ministers and MLAs want, a great help can be given to the disabled who have a lot of potential.
There are many differently-abled individuals who have excelled in education and other fields in an unbelievable way, the AMWJU leader pointed out.
Noting that the HDF has been persistently working hard for the betterment of the disabled in the State, Shyamjai lauded the Foundation for its perseverance.
He said that AMWJU is mulling to take only half the charge while hiring Manipur Press Club by any organization related to differently-abled people.
Dr Ch Rupachandra, chairman of HDF, vice-chairman B Gojendro, Ratan Luwangcha, vice-president of AMWJU and Shanta Nameirakpam, chairman of Manipur Finance & Business Ltd also attended the annual meeting of the Foundation marked by presentation of monetary assistances to various disabled persons who have created a niche for themselves in the society.
