IFC Minister inaugurates Bolkot village road

Bolkot village road and a new Church building have been inaugurated today in a simple function attended by Ngamthang Haokip, Minister IFCD, Printing & Stationery, Government of Manipur.
The village New Church building was dedicated by Rev.Khupthang Sitlhou in the presence of IFC Minister and Z.Kikhonbou, Vice Chairman HAC, Government of Manipur as well as elected members of ADC Tamenglong and ADC Sadar Hills.
Rev.Thangkholet Sitlhou dedicated the road after IFC Minister unveiled and inaugurated it.
Speaking at the function, IFC Minister emphasized the importance of brotherhood, love and unity which according to him are the key ingredients of Peace.
.ZKikhonbou, Vice Chairman HAC in his speech, claimed that development of Bolkot village economically, socially, physically and spiritually is much better than before.
While lauding every individual who rendered tireless efforts in the construction work of the village road and Church New building, chief of the village Lalkholet Sitlhou asserted that it is due to the faith, hope and love that we can overcome all hurdle during the construction work.
Bolkot village was earlier known as Dulen Khunou established around 1850 in Tamenglong District and now it is known as Bolkot, said Lalkhohao Sitlhou.
He continued that during 1993 tension between Kuki and Naga, it was shifted in Saitu-Gamphazol Sub-Division in Sadar Hills, Senapati district.
Due to brotherly affection from various relatives and friends, the village and church have been in a mature state, he added.
Apart from the village members, various CSOs and church leaders and its adjoining village chiefs also attended the function.
