Imphal, July 05 2021:
Pallel Bazar Board Action Committee (PBBAC) has resolved to socially boycott social worker T Zillangamba until he apologises to the Board or local clubs.
The Board also urged individuals and organisations not to participate in social activities involving Zillangamba.
In a release, PBBAC president M Chandrakeshore informed that the decision to socially boycott Zillangamba was taken after the Board and local clubs convened a meeting on July 3 .
The president contended that Zillangamba of Pallel Mamang Leikai violated the Board's resolution of taking permission from it for conducting any activities in Pallel Bazar.
He alleged that Zillangamba, in an inebriated condition claimed himself as social worker and member of a club and forcibly collected items from shop owners without paying money amidst the curfew imposed for containing Covid-19 .
After volunteers of the Board tried to settle the issue, he disrespected the volunteers and even used foul language against them, Chandrakeshore said, while conveying that the Board had summoned him several times for an understanding but he refused to come till date.
As such, the Board along with local clubs resolved to socially boycott Zillangamba until he gives in to the Board or local clubs.
Appealing to all for taking prior permission of the Board for conducting any activities at Pallel Keithel, Chandrakeshore cautioned of taking up actions if anyone violates the resolution of the Board.
