Dy CM invites

Even as Chief Minister N Biren has asked his deputy Y Joykumar who also holds the Finance portfolio to hold a meeting with leaders of the employees who are currently on strike, the Deputy Chief Minister has invited leaders of three employees' associations to discuss things tomorrow at 12.30 pm at his office chamber.
The JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO said that they do not know if such an invitation has been sent to them, but maintained that if it is received they will not meet the Dy CM as they will only talk at the level of the Chief Minister.
Speaking to media persons, Chief Minister N Biren who landed here today from Delhi reiterated that the 7th Pay would be certainly implemented but the State Government has been taking up certain exercises which cannot be overlooked.
Biren hinted that the Deputy Chief Minister may hold a meeting with leaders of employees tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Secretariat employees have completed three days of cease work strike today.
