Bodies of IRB duo to be airlifted today

The lifeless bodies of the two IRB personnel who went for election duty in Gujarat but died in a firing incident will be airlifted on Monday, while the other two injured personnel are undergoing further treatment.
According to sources, post mortem examinations on the 3rd IRB personnel Th Thoiba and Kh Jiten were conducted at civil hospital, Porbandar on Sunday and the bodies will be airlifted to Imphal.
As the health condition of 3rd IRB rifleman Chourajit and 4th IRB rifleman Rohikanta, who were previously treated at civil hospital, became serious, they have been shifted to GG hospital, which is the largest hospital in Gujarat.
Of the two injured IRB personnel, Chourajit is stated to be in the ICU.
Sources further said that a part of Adhok battalion that went to Gujarat from Imphal for election duty, the accused Inaocha, deceased Jiten, jamandar Arunkumar and rifleman Lokendro were putting up together in a room at cyclone centre.
After some contestations occurred among them, Inaocha tried to open fire with his service weapon (AK-47) but was snatched by jamandar Arunkumar and left the room.
After some time, sounds of gunshots were heard and upon checking it was learnt that Inaocha snatched the AK 47 rifle issued to Jiten and opened fired.
