Five bombs hurled, two explode

Imphal, January 25, 2012:
With just a couple of days left for the 10th Manipur State Assembly Election, bomb attacks on the candidates and workers of different political parties continue, with five bombs being hurled out of which two exploded.
Unidentified miscreants hurled a bomb yesterday at around 12:30 am at the residence of one Moirangthem Bidhu s/o late M Ibomcha of Kongba Uchekon, where it exploded.
He is an INC worker.
No casualty was reported.
Yet another bomb was also exploded at the house of one Asem Bishwarjit (45) of Ishok Manig Leikai today at around 8:30 pm.
No one was hurt in the incident.
A lethode bomb attack was carried out at the residence of one Akoijam Inaocha (38) s/o AK Lilamani of Yumnam Khunnou Mayai Leikai, another Congress worker, early this morning at around 6:20.A bomb was also hurled at the house of one INC candidate Pheiroijam Hemanta of Shamurou Bazaar early this morning at around 6:20.The bomb was later recovered by the police.
In yet another incident, a bomb was hurled at the residence of one CPI worker Pheiroijam Nobin (45) s/o Ph Yaima of Nongnada Awang Leikai.
The bomb was later recovered by the police.
