With an aim to bolster the brotherly relationship among hill and valley people and to show solidarity during lockdown period, social activist, Dr Alyson Abonmai and Ching Tarn Women's Development Association, Manipur today distributed rice, salt and potatoes to 100 households of Thamlapokpi village under Chandel district today.
Speaking on the sideline of the relief work, Dr Alyson said that God preaches us to love, share and care and thus all communities should help out each other and remain bonded with love and brotherhood.
Since the imposition of COVE)-19 lockdown, more than 130 trucks of vegetables have reached out to valley brothers, he said while adding that it was the 7th phase of the relief work conducted jointly with Ching Tarn Women's Development Association to help communities in remotest areas.
President of Ching Tam Women's Development Association, N Kunjeshori and executive members were also present during the relief work, reports our correspondent.
