Rajendra condoled

The Manipur Human Rights Commission, its Chairperson Justice UB Saha, Member Kangjam Khagendra Singh and staff condoled the demise of retired Lt Col RK Rajendra, former Member of the Commission.
RK Rajendra passed away yesterday.
In a condolence statement, the MHRC shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family members and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
Lt Col (Retd) RK Rajendra had made valuable contributions to the development and strengthening of the MHRC.
The demise of such a great man is indeed a great loss not only to the Meitei society but also to the entire Manipur society.
May his legacy live on, may his soul rest in eternal peace, said the MHRC.
Others including Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS), Manipur, Universal Mother's Organisation (UMO) too condoled the demise of RK Rajendra and remembered his contributions towards development of Manipur society.
FOCS and UMO noted that RK Rajendra had written many books during his lifetime and some of the books are on the history and origin of Kuki.
He was a resourceful person and his demise has left a void that can never be filled, said the bodies sharing the pain and grief of the bereaved family members.
