The Manipur Loumi Lup, in its 30th State conference, has resolved and appealed that no one should politicise whatever shares or schemes meant for farmers of the State.
The Manipur Loumi Lup held its 30th state conference at Rupmahal Theatre under the aegis of its preparatory committee.
The conference which was opened with a speech given by CPI Manipur State Council Secretary Dr M Nara passed five resolutions, the foremost being no one should politicise shares and schemes meant for farmers.
Implementation of MGNREGS in urban areas, repeal of AFSPA from Manipur, punishment of drug dealers according to law and no one should disturb territorial integrity of Manipur were other resolutions passed at the conference.
A new batch of State council members and executive members of the Loumi Lup were also elected at the conference.
Manipur Loumi Lup in-charge N Mangi, president in-charge Th Bijoy, working president S Nilakomol and vice-president H Ibobi were also present at the conference of the Manipur Loumi Lup.
