Lectures on Indian national flag organised

Imphal, July 23 2022:
Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a lecture on the Indian
national flag at Sawombung
in Imphal East on Saturday
to make the people aware
about the national flag as
symbol of pride, hope and
aspiration for all the people
of India.
A total of 58 students and
locals attended the event
which culminated with an
interaction with the local
youth and villagers.
In a similar gesture, Keithelmanbi Battalion of IGAR
(South) also conducted a lecture on awareness about Indian national flag for locals in
Imphal West and Bishnupur
districts on Saturday.
Furthering the efforts of
Indian government's initiative of "Har Ghar Tiranga" and "Azadi ka Amrit
Mahotsav" the lecture was
conducted rousing the true
spirit of nationalism.
The
opportunity was also utilised
to educate them on Agniveer
Scheme of military recruitment, said a PRO IGAR (S)
release.
Meanwhile, Sajik Tampak
Battalion of IGAR (South)
organised a lecture on 'Join
Indian Army' and screened
motivational movie 'Battle
of Imphal' to promote One
Nation, One Emotion, One
Identity concept as part of
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
and Har Ghar Tiranga initiative on Saturday at Sajik
Tampak in Chandel district.
According to PRO IGAR
(S), a total of 40 school
children from Saint Mary's
School and Government
School of Sajik Tampak
attended the lecture and
screening of movie.
They
were briefed about the history and importance of the
national flag and motivated
to join the defence forces
and to develop a sense of
patriotism.
The students
appreciated the efforts of
Assam Rifles in educating
them and motivating them.
