Speaking at the function.
Wiloubou stressed on the need to improve road infra- structure in the hill areas of Manipur, promote tourism to generate employment, develop health care and develop the education sector.
Stating that the education sector is in a mess, Wiloubou said that this is why thousands of young people from the State flock to other parts of the country to pursue their studies and in the process face harassment and racial discrimination.
This is all due to the shortcomings of the Congress Government, he contended.
Now with the BJP in power at Delhi under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP is giving special focus to the North East, he said and added that now the BJP has become the world's largest political party in the world and Modi is recognised as a global leader.
