The Rongmei Naga Youth Organization Manipur (RNYOM) has sought a clarification on the charges made against it and RNSO as well as the arrest of its three leaders.

No arrest warrant was produced, it said and alleged that the arrest is unlawful.
Explaining RNYOM said that it called on the NHIDCL to discuss the Irang bridge mishap and added that there was a certain level of understanding and cordiality between RNYO, AMUCO and NHIDCL initially.
It was also decided that NH-37 shall be monitored and looked after by RNYOM by setting up NH-37 Vigilance Commission and since then, it has been taking up due steps for the safety and welfare of the passengers on the road, it claimed.
NH-37 is the lifeline of the State and thus it is important that it is maintained well, it said and maintained that it is proper that RNYOM and RNSO take up the initiative of investigating the damage of Irang bridge and loss of life due to the collapse of the bridge.
Furthermore, when the bridge collapsed for the second time the lack of interest of the company to acknowledge the importance of the road became apparent, it alleged and added all concerned should be sincere in their work to keep the lifeline of the State safe and secured.
