First day of HSLCE well off well in Chandel

Chandel, February 20 2014 :
Out of the total 1281 registered candidates for Chandel district, 1255 of them sat for the High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2014 conducted state wide by the Board of secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) from today.
26 students did not show up to write the exam in Chandel district, where the exam is conducted in four centres.
Private Centre Chandel at Maha Union Government High School recorded attendance of 325 candidates.
Liwa Changning Govt High school at Komlathabi recorded 233 numbers of candidates.
MG Evergreen High School and Ideal High School at Pallel recorded 213 and 203 numbers of candidates respectively while Moreh recorded 281 numbers of candidates.
For smooth conduct of the Examination, Zonal Education Officer Chandel, F Lalzuithangi assigned and entrusted Assistant Inspector of School, KT Warngam Anal, L Mojesh Anal, AI, Science Supervisor of ZEO, Chandel, H Khamba Maring as supervising officers.
Speaking to media after visiting the examination centres, AI of ZEO Office Chandel, stated that the first day of the examination in Chandel was by and large peaceful and satisfactory.
