Following the arrest of some individuals posessing fake documents and Aadhaar cards by the State police personnel, Digital Loisang, a joint body of all Manipur Common Service Centres, has clarified that CSC PEC is not related in any way or did not engage in any work concerning the issuance- of forged documents/ Aadhar cards.
A press release issued by secretary of Digital Loisang, Manipur, lauded the statement of Chief Minister regarding the re-verification , of non locals living in the State along with those who possess Aadhaar cards and also assured to extend their full support to the tireless effort of JCILPS.
Common Service Centrfcs have been playing a vital role in successful implementation of various Central Govt schemes including Digital India campaign (30 days), Jeevan Parmaan (45 days) under the Treasury Dept and State Govt's initiatives namely Hill District Aadhaar Enrolment Programme (2 months), Chief Minister's 'Go to Village' initiative among others.
Decrying the unethical and illegal means employed by some individuals and firms, it further stated that such practices have tarnished the image of the all CSCs in the State.
