Imphal, December 14 2011:
There seems to be no opposition in the state with the state government up to all sorts of mischiefs doing whatever it wants and no one to oppose it, stated Minister Y Erabot.
Speaking at the book release function of "Freedom from India: A History of Manipur Nationalism (1947-2000)" written by Malem Ningthouja, Minister Y Erabot said that 80% of the total recruits in the state forces are from Thoubal.
This shows the blatant role of the state government in carrying out its greedy wishes without any sort of opposition.
He further said that, if we desire to bring about a good and effective society, we should have freedom of expression.
The media must also be given the freedom of expression.
The function was also attended by Prof Chinglen Meisnam, MU and Dr Kh Homen, Lecturer, MB College.
The magazine of Manipur Students' Association, Delhi, was also released by the Chief Guest, Minister Y Erabot on the occasion.
