Prayers with floral tributes at Phunal King's tomb

Prayers with floral tributes at the tomb of King Telheiba of Phunal were held at Waithou Phunal Maring village, Imphal east today.
King Telheiba of Phunal which is closely associated with the history of Manipur is remembered and floral tributes are paid every year to his tomb.
The king is regarded as God by the locals and even the Meeteis come and visit his tomb frequently.
Meanwhile a kitchen shed was also inaugurated at Waithou Phunal Maring village near the Tomb today.
The inaugural function was graced by Pungsubam Bimola, Adaksha, Impahal East Zila Parishad, Angson Menai, chairman, Phunal Ningthou Telheiba Khubam Development Committee and DK Tomui Maring, member of Bamon Kampu Zila Parishad as the Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively.
