Kpi mourns demise of prominent banker

Imphal, June 07 2018:
People of Kangpokpi and several organisations deeply mourned the untimely demise of Henkholun Misao, a prominent banker who died this morning at around 6 from stroke at Imphal.
The body of Henkholun Misao Hangmi, aged 57, son of Mangkholen Misao and Neikhojang Misao of Kangpokpi Ward No 6 was brought to Kangpokpi after condolence service at Imphal this afternoon.
He is survived by his wife Themkhovah, a Research Officer (Planning) and five children.
He served as the Deputy General Manager at State Bank of India.
Kangpokpi Town Committee, Kuki Worship Service Mumbai and Hangmi Students Union (HSU) General Headquarter expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family.
KSO Mumbai also condoled and stated that the demise of Henkholun Misao Hangmi is a loss for the Kuki society as a whole.
He was a fatherly figure who proclaimed the formation of Kuki Students' Organisation Mumbai on September 3, 2006, it said.
The last rites of Henkholun Misao Hangmi will be performed tomorrow at Kangpokpi DHQs.
