Mega legal awareness camp held

With the prime objective of imparting awareness of the various welfare schemes of the Government to the intended beneficiaries and their access thereof, a mega legal awareness camp was held at Manipur Trade & Expo Centre, Lamboikhongnangkhong on Feb 1 .
Altogether 18 stalls were opened by Department of Labour, Department of Education, Department of CAF&PD, Department of Health.
A separate stall for MACS, Manipur Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Chief Ministergi Hakshelgi Tengbang etc were also opened.
The camp was inaugurated by M Manojkumar Singh, District & Sessions Judge, Imphal West, RK Memcha Devi, Member Secretary, Manipur State Legal Services Authority & H Chandrajit Sharma, president, All Manipur Bar Association.
The programme was attended by around 2000 people/beneficiaries from across the State.
They were provided the benefits of various schemes including enrolment and delivery of CM's Hakshelgi Tengbang Health Card on the spot, enrolment of students for free admission to schools, services under e-District including PAN & GST banking, Aadhaar services, IEC for registration of labourers under Manipur Building & Other Construction Workers' Scheme, general health check up including HIV/STI/TB/Hepatitis B & C screening, counselling and follow up services.
