Imphal, July 21 2013:
Following blockage of NH-2 (Imphal-Dimapur Road) due to landslide at Phesema in Nagaland for the past several days, some oil tankers and gas bullets reached Jiribam yesterday for heading towards Imphal via NH-37 (Imphal-Jiribam Road).
However, the vehicles are still at Jiribam waiting for the escort personnel.
Meanwhile, the sunken portion of NH-2 near Phesema was repaired by BRTF to some extent allowing passage of light vehicles.
However, heavy vehicles including trucks and buses are still not allowed to pass through the sunken portion due to heavy rainfall, a source informed.
