Forged birth certificates allegedly sold at Jiribam despite security measures

Jiribam, November 13 2017:
Amidst the ongoing issue of the demand for implementation of Inner Line Permit System in the State and -the repeated verification drive at various areas, a Muslim-Bengali identified as Hussain Ahmed, s/o Lalpani Pt-I ward member Aruti Begum, has been alleged of selling fake birth certificates.
The news of selling forged birth certificates came into light when the locals addressed the matter to Jiribam DC.
Speaking to media persons, Hussain admitted that he only sold the fake certificates but the real work including forging and creation of the documents were conducted by some one else.
Meanwhile, Headmaster of East lalpani Primary School, Lalpani Pt-I, MD Makram Ali, while speaking to media persons, stated that he encountered the fake certificates while he was taking charge as the BLO.
He further stated that the matter was reported to the DC's office and the locals also took Hussain to the office where he apologised to the SDC, H Dhananjoy for selling the fake birth certificates in the area.
Meanwhile, one Toyob Hussain of Lalpani Pt-II has claimed that he bought fake birth certificates for his daughter and sons from Hussain Ahmed at the rate of Rs 450 .
Other locals are also claiming to have bought fake certificates from Hussain.
