Imphal, September 09 2020:
Womenfolk of Langdum have warned of launching intense agitations if the Government failed to book the culprits involved in killing Arambam Ranjan at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons during a sit-in protest staged today at Langdum Community Hall, one of the protestors said that the State Government has failed to translate their assurance of arresting all the culprits involved in the crime by September 8 into action.
Stating that the crime committed against A Ranjan was heinous, the protestor demanded the State Government and Home Department to book the culprits at the earliest.
She further warned the Government to take responsibility if any untoward incidents arise in case delivering justice to the deceased is delayed or denied.
It may be mentioned that some armed miscreants looted Rs 1.15 crore from an SBI Cash Replenishment Agency (CRA) at Churachandpur recently, in the course of which Ranjan Arambam died of bullet injuries.
