PFI to launch campaign against injustice

Imphal, September 30 2011:
The Popular Front of India (PFI) will be launching a campaign against injustice from October 5 onwards, said Arif Khan, General Secretary PFI today in a press conference held at its head office at Lilong Keithel Arapati Road.
Arif Khan told reporters that wall painting, wall poster and street corner meeting will be held as part of the campaign.
The campaign will also hold discussion on the frequent general strikes and economic blockades on the National Highways which choke the lives of the innocent people living in the state.
While expressing the need of amending the Article 3 of the Indian constitution, he said that the campaign will also discuss the frequent violations of human rights under the Disturb Area Act and the movement of Irom Sharmila demanding the repeal of AFSPA.
The organization will bring up the resolution and opinions of the people of the state for discussion in the National Conference which is to be held in New Delhi on November 26 and 27 .
