One more fresh case detected

Imphal, June 26 2022:
One more fresh case of Covid-19 was reported on Sunday, out of 40 samples tested in the last 24 hours, registering 2.5 per cent test positivity rate.
The new case is a female resident from Imphal West district.
No recoveries or death cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
Number of active cases reached 11 with 10 of them in home isolation.
Till date, the pandemic has claimed 2120 lives including seven CAPF personnel and infected 1,37,255 individuals including 5,014 CAPF personnel.
The virus has claimed lives of 194 vaccinated people, out of which 61 had received second doses of Covid vaccine.
There are 14 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 47 in RIMS.
So far, the state has recorded 11,467 positive cases and 118 fatalities since the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic.
The current month has reported 17 new positive cases and no fatality with a monthly positivity rate of 1.12 per cent.
A total of 84 D-type and 12 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours and 1217 vaccine doses administered on Saturday which took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 15,90,221, out of which 12,55,340 had received second doses and 1,07,588 had taken precautionary doses.
Data analysed by this daily shows that the rate of infection remains 44,233 confirmed cases per million population (based on projected population of 31,03,000 as per NCP report) against the national average of 30,843 CPM.
Test rate has improved to 5,20,283 tests per million population against the national average of 6,11,987 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent while the recovery rate stands at 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative positivity rate stands 8.50 per cent.
