'ILPS not only for Meeteis'

Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) President Sapamcha Jadumani Sunday said that the ongoing mass movement on ILPS issue is not only for Meeteis but for all the indigenous communities of the state.
Speaking during a public meeting organised by Shree Shree Gopinath Temple Management Board, Sagolband Tera Lukram Leikai on the ILPS issue at YLDC community hall of Sagolband Yengkhom Leirak, Jadumani recalled that any non-Manipuri needed permit to enter Manipur before 1950 .
People have demanded the Manipur Government to reinstate the same status.
However, the Government has failed to fulfill Manipuri people's demand.
Urging all to live for the Manipuri nation, Jadumani said that people need to face the Government of India and it should be Centre versus Manipuri people' said Jadumani.
President of SSGTMB Y Mohendro, Chief Editor Kangla Pao P Ibochou, Editor Naharolgi Thoudang Kh Loya, social cctivist Dhanabir Laishram also spoke on ILPS issue during the meet.
