Staff allege fund swindling by MD

Employees of the Punna Hingminnaba Thrift and Credit Cooperative Society Limited have alleged that the managing director of the society has fled away since September first week with money deposited in the account of the society without paying their pending salaries.
Speaking to media persons, one staff of the society Khuraijam Britan said that managing director of the cooperative society Chingtham Dharmendra s/o Choaba of Changangei who is also a Gram Panchayat Member of Ward number 6 was on the run along with the refundable deposit money of around 200 persons since September 2 .
Each of the 200 persons deposited Rs 40,000 on the average and pending salary of the staff amounting to around 1.5 crore in aggregate.
