Zeliangrong Prayer Day

Imphal, February 11 2014:
In accordance to Resolution No.4 of the 5th Dimki/Assembly Session held at Nchurelo Village, Mahur, Assam on December 6, 2013 and Resolution No.1 of the Central Executive Meeting held at Senapati District on February 8, 2014, the last Sunday of February every year would be observed as the Zeliangrong Prayer Day to seek the blessing of God to forgive and forget the past misdeeds, for the solidarity of Zeliangrong consanguinity, peace and prosperity.
Announcing this in a statement, Dr Gairiangmei Maringmei, General Secretary of Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland), as informed that the 1st Zeliangrong Prayer Day will be observed on Sunday, the 23rd February, 2014 in all the Zeliangrong inhabited areas irrespective of different denominations of Christianity, Heraka, Tingkao Raguang Chapriak (TRC), traditional Pou-Pei Chapriak, Champa and other faiths.
The Baudi has appealed to all the churches, parish, TRC kalumkai, Pou-Pei Chapriak, Champa, pei, youth club, women societies to observe the day in any possible manner.
