Be innovative and creative says Education Minister

Students nowadays hardy ask any question (to teachers/mentors) which is one of the most important means of learning and engaging one with the subject being taught.
Students must be innovative, thinking, and creative and always applying/practising rather than become a pool of information staying dull, said Education Minister Th Radheshyam.
The Minister was speaking at the felicitation cum career guidance programme at Gamnom Sapormeina Community Hall today, organized by the Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills for the successful candidates of the HSLCE and HSE 2018 from Sadar Hills Kangpokpi District.
We have seen many toppers since the past many years but we are yet to witness any positive changes in the society and it is because most of the students study only for marks, said the Minister.
"We want you to be innovative, thinking and creative and be solutions to the problems," the Education Minister encouraged the students.
"Parents put so much pressure upon their children to get good marks and rank in competitions that they failed to providing them leisure time and proper guidance.
Students are not pressure cookers but dreamers who need to be nurtured and shaped to good directions they want or choose," he said.
He further urged the teachers to make the schools and the classes attractive and interactive to get the attention of the children/students and build up as active healthy learning based environment.
The felicitation program was attended by the Education Minister Th Radheshyam as chief guest while the local MLA Ngamthang Haokip attended as functional president.
DC Kangpokpi, Kuki Inpi Kangpokpi District leaders attended the event as special guests and Rev Mangpithang Haokip as dedicating Minister.
Teresa Tangpua, MCS, Maj Subrata Debbarma and Dr Seikhohao Kipgen enlightened the students� community during the career guidance session.
After the felicitation programme, the Education Minister and the local MLA inspected various department offices within Gamnom Sapormeina and interacted with the department officials and staffs.
