Imphal, September 28 2011:
On the occasion of the Irawat Day, the proscribed UG group RPF and its arm wing PLA paid tributes to the soul of the late leader of revolution and friends of farmers and workers.
RPF in a press release stated that they are following the path of the late leader ,a pioneer of revolutionary movements in the state who opposed the force annexation of Manipur to the Indian Union.
The release further stated that political leaders in the state are misusing the name of the leader in a wrong way.
By taking the name of the leader and showing off that they are following the path of the leader, they are sucking the blood of the innocent people of the state under the Indian Constitutions instead of working for the welfare of the people.
Irawat was a true son of Manipur who tried all his life to develop and bring up Manipur among the nations of the world.
It is the duty for every people of the state to follow his path and strive for the development and welfare of Manipur.
The India government is trying to disintegrate the state by instilling communal ill-feelings in order to suppress the revolutionary movements in the state.
The release also appealed to the people of the state to rise up and work collectively for a peaceful Manipur where there is no discrimination and communal ill feelings.
