Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) observes 7th anniversary

The 7th birth anniversary celebration of Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) was observed at Leimarol Arts Centre (LAC) of SIngjamei Chingamakha in Imphal today.
Speaking as the chief guest, adviser of International Peace and Social Awareness (IPSA) H Ibotombi said that strength and influences wielded by students make it all the more necessary to involve in various social issues and movements for progress and betterment of society by pressuring the government and influencing many courses of events.
He stressed the importance of schools but lamented the state of affairs of government schools and urged the government for speedy remedy measure so that government schools are at par with private schools and educate all sections of students.
Th Premanada, president of Kangleipak Stuents' Association (KSA) in his guest of honour speech said that ministers and high officers in the educational authority just paid lips service with their glib tongue while doing little in reality.
He assured of taking serious consideration of any suggestion from any quarter in streamlining education and the system connected with it.
Y Leirikleima challenged students to lead everywhere, be it at home or outside to chart the future of the state.
As special invitee, N Chaoba who is the working president of All Manipur Guardian Association expressed desire to student organizations to check drugs menace invading school students.
Prize distribution and gifts presentation to various persons excelling in debates and paintings marked the occasion.
Blood donation is also a special feature of today's function.
