Khangabok Village Development Apex Committee has sought the State Government's attentionregarding the lack of facilities and welfare schemes at Khangabok AC.
The committee was formed by 20 registered clubs/organisations from different parts of the constituency.
Speaking to media persons, president of Khangabok Village Development Apex Committee stated that the committee will inspect and provide all necessary help in bringing development to the AC.
He stated that the committee has resolved to raise demand to the authority concerned regarding the lack of various developmental works.
Some of the demands are to construct a gate on the southern side of Thoubal district hospital, repair the septic tank of the hospital, restore the river banks of flood prone areas, construct proper canals and irrigation system, convert the playgrounds to a stadium, renovate Ikop Patt as tourism spot, to hand over pass book to bank account holders of MGNREGA.
Among the resolutions, the committee has urged the authority concerned to punish the culprit(s) who have not distributed PDS items since February and also highlighted the need for drinking water facilities of Khangabok part 2 and 3 .
Meanwhile the executive members of the AC have also been elected including Th Dilipkumar (MYC) as president and Th Nabakumar (PYC) as secretary general of the committee.
