State BJP chief questions Govt's vision

Imphal, September 20 2019:
Rajya Sabha MP and president of BJP Manipur Pradesh K Bhabananda has said that it is the duty of the people to question where the BJP-led coalition Government is heading, what are its visions for the people and what policy it is following currently.
He made the statement during the closing event of the week long Sewa Saptaha which was organised as a part of the birthday celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at the party office at Canchipur today.

Speaking to party workers, K Bhabananda said that there might be cases of satisfaction and non-satisfaction among BJP's allies but the Government also has gained or garnered many achievements till date.
The Government is here to benefit the people and to work for their welfare, he said.
He then admitted that there are currently some issues within the BJP-led State Government and urged the party workers not to get involved in the problem.
There are many Central party leaders.
They are closely monitoring the situation and they will take the right decision at the right time, he added.
Bhabananda conveyed that he has heard people asking him what he is doing regarding the issues within the Government and added that he is like a messenger and his job is only to bring up the issues in front of the Central party leaders as they are the ones who will call the shots.
Informing that his term as the party president ended in May this year, the Rajya Sabha MP said that he will continue to act as the president until an election is held and a new president is appointed in December.
The Government is for the people and it is necessary for all those concerned to settle their differences and work together for the common good of the people, he stated.
He continued that the Prime Minister has been working tirelessly to create a new India and the recent scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35A from Jammu and Kashmir is a great achievement.
During the event which was attended by party vice-president Salam Joy and general secretary N Nimbus as well as many party workers and officials, the participants took a pledge to make the country clean, get rid of single-use plastics etc.
An exhibition on the life and achievements of Prime Minister Narendra was also held at the event.
