Imphal, May 07 2020:
The Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has lauded the Government for its initiative of starting online classes for the students of the State.
A press release issued by KSA said that the online/e-classes was started by the Government to bridge the educational gap faced by the students as all educational institutions are currently shut as a result of coronavirus outbreak and imposition of curfew/lockdown, however, only a certain section of the students are benefiting from these classes.
Reminding that there are many students who are not in a state to afford gadgets/technology to attend the online class, KSA has drawn the attention of the Education Minister and the Government to find a solution.
It has also urged the Government to screen the videos which are uploaded on social media platforms.
The Association have also appealed to all concerned to waive off school and transportation fee for the lockdown period.
