Tengnoupal, June 29 2019:
The sole Trade Centre building of the State Government which is situated at the border town Moreh, Tengnoupal district seems to be lying unattended and neglected.
Our correspondent visited the site where the supposed renovation work of the Trade Centre building was taking place on February 11 and found parts of the building including the ceiling unfinished.
It was also found that only the upper part of the conference hall of the Trade Centre was covered with tin roof while ceilings were constructed without removing leaking tin roofs.

Unfortunately, the supposed renovation work stopped on March 21.Meanwhile, according to source, the renovation work will start again, reports our correspondent.
The conference hall of the Trade Centre building is one of the important rooms of the building where high level official meetings, Survey of India meetings etc are carried out and owing to the lack of proper infrastructure and failure to maintain the one and only Trade Centre of the State has led such important meetings to be held at hotels.
It is high time for department concerned and the State Government to take prompt action and finish renovating the construction work at the earliest.
